Buster Sam Talmadge

We know why they call it Puppy Love. All of us are completely taken by our newest family member, Baby Buster. He was born on April 28, in a litter of 7 pups to Mollie, a German Short Haired Pointer/Irish Setter Mix and an unnamed Golden Retriever.

Puppy Time!

No, it's not a bulldog puppy, but a coworker of Trey's is giving away 7 pointer/setter-Golden Retriever puppies. Here's a picture of Buster:

Buster will be ready to come to our house in 2 weeks, which is the day school gets out for the summer!

5th grade field trip

Becky's 5th grade class went to the Tredegar Iron Works Civil War Museum in Richmond on Wednesday. Despite a very rainy start, it was a great trip!

And perhaps the kids' favorite part of the trip: lots and lots of baby geese!

Bulldog Manna

Rachel's Story Time

This is too sweet not to share. Rachel and Becky like to read in bed, and since there's no school tomorrow, they had more time to read tonight. Rachel wanted to read to her "guys", and Daddy put lots of her stuffed animals in the top bunk with her. Enjoy:)

Snow Day!

Here are a couple of shots of the girls in the snow today! We didn't have very much snow, but they certainly had a great time out in it at our house and at Hannah and Abby's house too!

New Van!

After 154,000 miles, we retired our old white van and got this 2009 Sienna on Saturday! The new car smell is great!

Like Mother, Like Daughter

We've finally found something that one of our girls gets from their mother, a profound hatred for dental work! While we were eating lunch today, Rachel showed us that she had a tooth that was bleeding. When Amy wiggled it, the tooth was VERY loose and ready to be pulled, much to Rachel's dismay. In fact, Rachel hadn't told us she had a loose tooth because she didn't want us to pull it.

New Year, New "Do"

Becky has been growing her hair to donate it for the second time to Pantene Beautiful Lengths, which makes wigs for cancer patients. Today was haircut day! Thanks to Charlene for an awesome cut, and to Becky who is helping cancer patients in memory of Grammy!
